Why are You Running As An Independent?
As an INDEPENDENT I answer to you the Citizen and you alone. I am an INDEPENDENT because I want to represent YOUR INTERESTS in your government. I want to bring common sense to our government. Like many of you I have watched our political process and, most importantly, our elected officials ignore the will of the people in favor of party and/or big business.
It is my position that the government belongs to all of the people and the best interests of the people takes prescedent over the interest of big business of political party leveraging.
Many have the misconception that one person cannot make a difference. I beg to differ. The majority of services and dollars returned to the District can be obtained without political party affiliation.
I do not want to go to Washington to advance myself. I want to go to make the 4th District a better place for all of us.
- How Can I Help You Get Signatures?
You can call 770.657.3104 and we will bring the necessary petitions to you and show you the correct way to obtain signature. I prefer you work in your community where you are known. Any amount of signatures you can obtain will mean that fewer for me to collect. We will deliver the petitons and pick them up. The peititions must be notarized. - Why Do I Have to Sign A Petition?
It is a requirement established by the Georgia Legislature.
- Why Do I Have to Put My Birthdate On The Petition?
It is a required reportedly to prevent voter fraud. I do not agree with it and once elected will work to substitute another form of identifying the voter's signature as authentic,
- Can I Sign An Online Petition?
No. Online Petitions are not allowed because of potential voter fraud.
- What Difference Will Independents Really Make?
A big one. As you are aware, the majority in Congress is a small one. If six Independent are elected to Congress it would mean the parties would have to obtain the votes of those Independents in order to have a majority. This would result in them having to address the issues of those Independent represemtatives.
