Letters From Faye

 19 May 2008

Dear Neighbor

First, let me thank all of your who have signed my Petition.  But we must still work to get the 14,887  necessary signatures from 4th District voters.  We will make history when my name is placed on the November Ballot.

Many of you have asked why I did not run as a Democrat or Republican then change to Independent once elected.  Well, to be honest that is what Politicans have done for decades.  But I choose to be honest with you about my political affiliation.  I also want to let people know you can be elected without being a Democrat or a Republican.

Like many of you, I have been disturbed by the demeanor and certain comments made by Candidates in the current Presidential Elections.  But even more troubling has been the efforts of political party leaders to disenfranchise voters in an effort to insure their "candidate" is elected regardless of the will and votes of the people.  When elected I will present legislation that prevents anyone from voiding the votes because of internal party politics.  Instead I will recommend all Candidates be on all ballots and those votes be counted for the respective candidates.  No more Florida and Michigan.

But I need your help.  Please click here to volunteer to help me get the additional signatures I need to place my name on the November ballot.  Only then can you and I go to Washington.  Lets take our government back.

Dear Neighbor:

I want to be your Independent Congresswoman and represent your issues at home and in Washington, D.C.. I have elected to run as an Independent because I am tired of the political party bickering and failure to place the interest of everyday citizens over those of big business. As an Independent I am affiliated with no political party. I want to represent you and your interest. It is your signatures and votes which will take US to D.C.

In order for my name to be placed on the November ballot, I must obtain signatures on a Nominating Petition. Your signature on my Petition does not obligate you to vote or support me. It merely means you have no objection to my name being placed on the ballot. Independent Candidates are the only candidates required to do this.

If you have questions, please call me at 770.657.3104 or the Georgia Secretary of State at 404.656.2871.

Remember, it is not the government, it is our government.

Dear Neighbor:

Do not believe the AJC hype - Cong. Johnson is not running unopposed. I am in it to win it.

I will be knocking on your door to collect the necessary petition signatures to place my name on the ballot as an Independent.

I want to be your Independent Congresswoman and represent your issues at home and in Washington, D.C.. I have elected to run as an Independent because I am tired of the political party bickering, back door deals and failure to place the interest of everyday citizens over those of big business and special interests. I will never allow "party" politics to sway my vote or actions on your behalf. After all, it is your signatures and votes which will take US to D.C.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to email me or call me at 770.657.3104

Remember, it is not the government, it is our government.

Dear Neighbor:

Our country is facing one of its greatest challenges.  Not only are we struggling with an unjust and economically devistating war we are faced with rapidly rising cost for our basic necessities.  Housing, gasoline, utilities, food staples such as milk, eggs and bread have risen at an unprecedeanted rate.  Yet our elected government has chosen to merely hold hearings and shout blame back and forth along political affiliations.  None of these increases "snuck up" on people who should have been following trends to protect your best interests.

What is their solution - - to send you $600 in 10 weeks.  If $600 in 10 weeks could solve the problems we would have solved them ourselves.   Never forget in 2006 you were promised specific changes would occur.  Now ask yourself, did they or has it been business as usual with just a different political party in control.

You need and deserve elected people who are not bound by political party affiliation to handle these issues.

I want to be your Independent Congresswoman and represent your issues at home and in Washington, D.C.. The Independent voter movement is the fastest growing political group in this country.  I have elected to run as an Independent because I am tired of the political party bickering, game playing and failure to place the interest of everyday citizens over those of big business. I will never allow "party" politics to sway my vote or actions on your behalf. After all, it is your signatures and votes which will take US to D.C.

My positions and goals on various issues are addressed on this web sit.  If you have questions or conerns which are not addressed here, please contact medirectly at askfaye@electfaye.com.   If you see me out in the community don’t hesitate to ask my position on your issues. And of course, you can call me.

Remember, it is not the government, it is our government.
